Live in Europe is a big band music live album recording by STAN KENTON released in 1977 on CD, LP/Vinyl and/or cassette. Live in Europe Universal Music & VI 1990.

Though Stan Kenton would lead his band on tours in 1977 and 1978, this live recording from September 1976 is the band's last official recording. This well recorded 46 CD (a straight re-issue of the LP) is a thrilling, if unplanned, finale to Kenton's recording career. In a way, "Live in Europe" summarizes Kenton's career.

This item is the CD album for Tampico by June Christy with Stan Kenton and his Orchestra.

Stanley Newcomb Kenton (December 15, 1911 – August 25, 1979) was an American popular music and jazz artist. As a pianist, composer, arranger and band leader he led an innovative and influential jazz orchestra for almost four decades. Though Kenton had several pop hits from the early 1940s into the 1960s, his music was always forward looking.
