The album Cyber Rendezvous together with singer ‘Countess M released in 2016 on the now defunct Analogue Trash Records was an interesting introduction to this band. Gary Watts (core member) strikes back with a new singer Sarah Boucher delivering 4 new songs as appetizer to the announced new full length. Content: Reborn features 4 different songs, which are moving in between raw electro-pop and dance-pop vibes. The female vocals are extremely powerful and with somewhat imagination reminding me of Alison Moyet. Sound-wise I like the rough sound production, which is not that typical for electro-pop, but Nature Of Wires is not a ‘typical’ electro-formation. I like the wafting synth parts hanging over the songs and the excellent organ-like sequences at the end of Human Nature. This EP reveals 4 different cuts, which I personally prefer instead of a title song plus an endless list of remixes.
